# Welcome to Launch Flow

Launch Flow is a Shopify app that lets you schedule store changes ahead of time so they fire automatically. No staying up at midnight to flip prices for a big sale, and no manual cleanup afterward.

You set up a **launch**: a change (or set of changes) and the date and time it should go live. When that moment arrives, Launch Flow applies the change for you. Before it does, it saves a snapshot of the original values, so when your promotion ends it can restore everything exactly as it was.

### What you can do with Launch Flow

* Run flash sales and seasonal promotions (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, holiday sales)
* Schedule coordinated price drops across many products at a precise time
* Publish a redesigned theme or landing page at launch time
* Set time-boxed promotions that revert automatically when they're over

**New here?** Start with [Installation & setup](/launch-flow/get-started/installation.md), then schedule your first sale in the [Quick start](/launch-flow/get-started/quick-start.md).
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://code-collective.gitbook.io/launch-flow/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
